Hey there, I’m Samantha Elizabeth, the creator of Juniper & Thyme. I’m a mama of two amazing kiddos, four fur babies, and a loving wife of 13 years. Our house thrives on chaos, between the kids and the animals there is never a dull moment. But even with all of the excitement somewhere along the way, I realized that I had lost touch with myself. I had forgotten who I was before I became a mother and a caretaker. I had set aside my passions and dreams and was just going through the motions.

That was the moment I realized I needed to make a change. Reconnecting with myself and finding the beauty in the little moments of everyday life was it. My life didn’t need to change, only my perspective. Exploring and appreciating the world and life around me was the best decision I could make. I was no longer going to simply survive life; I was going to live it.

And that’s how Juniper & Thyme was born. This blog is my way of sharing my journey of finding joy and creativity in everyday life.
